William "Will" Andrew Solace is a sixteen-year-old [ 1 ] Greek demigod , the son of Apollo and Naomi Solace. He is a minor character in Percy Jackson and the Olympians and a recurring character in The Heroes of Olympus and The Trials of Apollo , and the deuteragonist of The Nico di Angelo Adventures. Will is the current head counselor of Apollo's Cabin and a prominent healer at Camp Half-Blood. He is openly bisexual [ 2 ] and the boyfriend of Nico di Angelo.

Since about fifth or sixth grade, my comfort character has been Nico di Angelo from the Percy Jackson series. Nico Di Angelo is a young Italian son of Hades, and he has been through a lot throughout the series when he is not even the main character. Nico is a character steeped in grief, religious trauma, guilt and internalized homophobia; a brutal combo to say the least. I related to him before I knew he was queer, and when I read about his queerness in The House Of Hades , he was the first ever gay character I had ever seen.

Nico is the new transfer from Italy, and somehow is related to Hazel Levesque, one of other Beauties while he's a Bastard. And for some reason they have major beef, till they both get to drunk at a party and sleep with each other.
